Our Safety Promise

Swoop recognizes that the use of Alcohol and Drugs can adversely impact a safe work environment and the well-being of others including guests, suppliers and the public, as well as places Swoop's operations at risk. All roles that are identified as safety sensitive are required to pass a Pre-Employment Alcohol and Drug Test as per Swoop's Alcohol & Drug Policy. Swoop has suspended its Covid-19 Vaccination Policy to align with the federal government's suspension of vaccine requirements for federally regulated employees. This relaxation of vaccination requirements is a suspension not a dissolution. Should the federal government reinstate a vaccine requirement based on the latest public health advice and science, so too will the WestJet Group.
