We're calling on all Canadians to #LiftEachOtherUp🚀 on Pink Shirt Day

For every like, comment, or share on the Pink Shirt Day #LiftEachOtherUp🚀 Donation Posts shared on February 26, Swoop will donate $1 to support anti-bullying programs in partnership with CKNW Kids’ Fund.

*Maximum donation of $20,000.

Since 2008, Pink Shirt Day has raised more than $2.3 million to support youth anti-bullying programs throughout Western Canada. Canadians are encouraged to wear a pink shirt on Feb. 26 to send a strong message that we care. This important day can start conversations which can be a big step towards healing and helping.

Pink Shirt Day has grown from a small group of Canadians to an internationally recognized movement, seeing global partners come together every February, to affirm that we, as a society, will not tolerate bullying anywhere. Canadians are encouraged to join Swoop and our fellow #PinkShirtDay partners in practicing kindness and wearing pink to symbolize that bullying doesn’t belong in our communities.

For every like/favourite, comment, or share/retweet (“Engagement”) of the designated social media posts on Swoop or Pink Shirt Day social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, made on February 26, 2020, between 12:01 AM - 11:59 PM PST (the “Posts”), Swoop will donate $1.00 CAD to the CKNW Kids’ Fund, to be allocated to Pink Shirt Day, up to a maximum donation of $20,000. The number of Engagements will be determined by Swoop using means selected by Swoop. Swoop disclaims all liability for any error or omission in the administration of the Pledge, including the determination of the number of Engagements. Swoop reserves the right to exclude any Engagement that, as determined by Swoop in its sole discretion: (1) cannot practically be counted for any reason, (including, without limitation, user privacy settings), or (2) is contrary to the spirit of Swoop and/or the Pledge (including, without limitation, any Post that is derogatory, inappropriate, is or promotes bullying behaviour, or appears to be automated and/or made by a bot).
