Downtown Courtenay is located in the center of the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. Once you are downtown it is very easy to park and experience everything on foot. Locally there is bus service in the 3 municipalities of Courtenay, Comox and Cumberland. There’s also HandyDart buses available for people with limited mobility.
There are four marinas around the valley with boat launches if you want to spend a day on the water. Wave to passing whales or take a quick ride to amazing beaches like Tree Island and Tribune Bay.
