Beginning on Sunday, March 22, 2020, at 11:59 p.m., we will suspend all our international and transborder flights. This suspension follows Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s announcement imposing travel restrictions for all flights entering Canada to reduce the spread of COVID-19. The suspension will be in place until May 31, 2020.

If you’re looking to enjoy some desert heat, Mesa is a great place to start! The city is close to other Arizona destinations, such as Phoenix and Scottsdale, but there’s also lots to see and enjoy in Mesa itself. When you fly into the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, you can choose between a handful of taxi, sedan and rideshare services. Many hotels also have a shuttle, so make sure to check before you get on the plane. There is also a bus route that drives through town and stops at the airport. There are more than 64 miles of cycling trails in the city, and with many rental shops in town you don’t need to worry about finding a way to get your own bike on the plane. If you’re feeling competitive, you can enter El Tour de Mesa, a yearly bike race in April that has 5, 10, 50 and 100 kilometre options. There is also a festival at the finish line with a zip line, rock walls, live music and food trucks.
