Things to know before visiting: A federal tax of 5% is levied on all goods and services, as well as a provincial tax of 6% that applies to taxable goods and services consumed or used in Saskatchewan. The City of Saskatoon is a smoke-free city which makes all public places and private clubs smoke-free. This includes bars, nightclubs, bingo halls, bowling centres, private clubs and restaurants. In addition, smoking is not allowed in outdoor seating areas associated with these establishments or at public events.
Saskatoon has it all - planes, trains, and automobiles! The international airport is only 10 minutes from downtown, so you're a hop, skip and a jump away from the city centre.
