The safety of our guests, crew and aircraft is Swoop's top priority, and we are committed to providing a safe travel and work environment for our travellers and Swoopsters.
We understand our travellers may need extra flexibility in the coming weeks, and we're pleased to offer a Peace of Mind Re-Booking Policy.
Starting today, travellers making new bookings will have our existing ModiFly® flexibility feature added to their booking for free. This will allow our travellers to make a one-time change of time and/or date per direction, provided their scheduled departure is more than 7-days away.
In addition, travellers with scheduled departures more than 7-days away now can add ModiFly® to their previous bookings for free through Manage my Booking at FlySwoop.com. This will give them the ability to make a one-time change of time and/or date per direction.
Travellers scheduled to travel to the U.S., Mexico or Jamaica on or before September 13, 2020, are being contacted directly by email with the option to rebook or cancel their existing itinerary.
Travellers who chose not to fly on transborder or international flights on Saturday, March 14, are also being contacted by email to offer them a Swoop credit for their flight.
We will continue to monitor the evolving situation and remain in regular contact with the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), Transport Canada and other agencies to ensure that we are in alignment with their air travel recommendations.
This new policy enables our travellers to continue booking with confidence, benefitting from ultra-low fares with the peace of mind that there is the option to change their flight at a later date without incurring a change fee.
