When you land in Kamloops, you’re in luck! The airport is only 15 minutes from downtown, so you can start your vacation right away. If you opt out of renting a car, there are shuttle buses from the airport, BC Transit bus routes in town, as well as multiple taxi services. If you do want a car, there are many options for rentals both at the airport and downtown.
With such a big backyard, you could spend your whole trip to Kamloops enjoying nature and most parks and hiking trails are free. You can also borrow a rod and tackle box for free from the Kamloops Visitor’s Centre and try your hand at trout fishing on one of the many nearby lakes. In the evening, head to Riverside Park for free live music every night though July and August!
