Ottawa's buses and light rail are some of the easiest ways to get around the city, tickets can be purchased with cash on the bus, or at all O-Train stations with credit or cash.
If you are feeling more adventurous, feel free to check out the shared e-scooters that are available April-November. These services can be accessed via apps on your smartphone, and let's be honest, is probably the funnest way to get around.
Rental cars are available at the airport for those 21 years or older with a valid driver's license, and if you prefer not to drive, ride-sharing apps and taxis are readily available.
Where are all our party people at?? If you're looking to party in Ottawa, make sure you download the app ClubZone to avoid expensive entry fees and enter on guestlists. This is also a great way to get some insight on upcoming events.
Our other trick for saving money in Ottawa is buying groceries and cooking your own meals where ever possible. On the odd time you can't cook yourself we have two ultra-not-expensive restaurants for you: Warehouse and Pub 101.
