As an ultra-low cost airline, policies and processes are totally our jam. And while we may seem like sticklers, these practices are what keep our fares ultra-low, just how you like them. This is what you need to know before you leave for the airport. Be sure to head to our Travel Ready Hub for the most up-to-date information on flying.
It’s always a good idea to check traffic reports and allow extra time to get through security.
Domestic - Arrive at least two hours before your departure
International - Arrive three hours before your departure
Swoop does not offer credits or refunds for missed flights, optional fees including baggage, seat selection, and priority boarding. This allows us to stay in line with the ultra low-cost business model.
Check-in and baggage close before departure. And we don’t mean kinda close with some wiggle room, they actually close. So if you miss the deadline, you’ll miss the flight.
Domestic – Closes 45 before your departure
International – Closes 60 minutes before your departure
Don’t be late to the gate because we can’t wait. The door to the aircraft closes 15 minutes prior to departure.
