What is Swoop's cancellation policy?

No cancellations are permitted except within 24 hours of making the booking if it is more than 7 days from departure. Additionally, tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. This helps us follow our ultra-low-cost business model.

What forms of payment does Swoop take?

Swoop accepts the following forms of payment; Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club, Discover, AMEX, Visa Debit, Swoop Credit, Swoop Vouchers.

What is Swoop's change policy?

For changes being made 3 days (72 hours) or more from departure, and less than 7 days from departure, changes incur a fee of $150 per passenger per direction and any difference in fare. For changes being made 7 days (168 hours) or more from departure, changes incur a fee of $100 per passenger per direction.

No changes are permitted less than three days (72 hours) prior to departure.

Do you offer commission for referrals?

Swoop does not pay any agency commissions.  Our mission is making travel affordable, easy and accessible to all Canadians. We do this by keeping costs low, passing the savings onto our travellers with low unbundled fares and offering a customized experience.

How do I make group bookings?

Planning a trip with 7 people or more can be challenging. Make it easier by ensuring everyone gets on the same flight and pays the same price. What is ModiFly?

ModiFly allows travellers to make a one-time change of time and/or date per direction (flight segment). It can be purchased at initial time of booking.  More details can be found: https://www.flyswoop.com/travel-terms-and-conditions/

How are schedule changes handled?

Swoop will make all reasonable efforts to inform travellers of delays and schedule changes and, to the extent possible, the reason for the delay . Please refer to our Tariffs for more info https://www.flyswoop.com/tariffs/

How does seat selection work?

Seats can be selected prior to departure. By purchasing seats, travellers can customize where to sit. If they do not select seats, Swoop will do our best to seat the group together at check-in, for no additional charge.

What are agency credits?

An Agency credit may appear after an Agency-made booking is cancelled by an Agent. The first traveller on a booking must create a Swoop profile or provide their existing profile number to the Agent and Swoop to have the credit transferred into their profile. Swoop Credits are non-transferable. Credits can only be redeemed by the first traveller on the booking. A person can use their credit to book a flight for a third party. Only the owner of the credits can use them.
