TSA Pre✓™

What is TSA Pre✓™?

You can now use TSA Pre✓™ on Swoop flights. TSA PreCheck is a U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Transportation Security Administration (TSA) risk-based security initiative. TSA Pre✓™ lets experienced, low-risk travellers travel easily and more efficiently through the security screening process when flying through our U.S. airports.

Who is eligible for TSA Pre✓™:

Members enrolled in a trusted traveller program and received a Known Traveller Number (KTN)

  • Canadian citizen with a NEXUS membership.

  • Foreign citizen with a membership to Global Entry and not registered as a U.S. lawful permanent resident.

  • U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or Lawful Permanent Resident with a membership to the TSA Pre✓™ application program.

  • U.S. citizen who has a Known Traveller Number (KTN).

  • Member of the U.S. Armed Forces, including those serving in the U.S. Coast Guard, Reserves, and National Guard.

  • U.S. citizen who is a member of either Global Entry, SENTRI, and/or NEXUS.

You are one step away from a faster security screening! Enter your Known Traveller Number (KTN) when you are checking in, making sure that the name and date of birth matches your KTN's personal information. Once approved, it will appear on your boarding pass (online, on the app and hard copy).

Travelling with children?

Children under the age of 12 years old are able to accompany you or their guardian in the TSA Pre✓™ lane.

How do I know if registration for the program was successful?

When successful, a TSA Pre✓™ will appear on your boarding pass.

What if a TSA Pre✓™ lane is not available?

Don't worry, you'll still be able to save some time when you're going through security. Your shoes, belt and light jacket remains on, liquids and electronics come out of the bag.
